Who I help
For students at schools where Latin is required: keep pace with the class, fill grammar gaps, and walk into quizzes and tests prepared.
Focused work on the AP Caesar and Vergil syllabus, sight reading, and timed practice — plus level-by-level review for the National Latin Exam.
Classical homeschoolers using Henle, Memoria Press, Wheelock’s, or Latin for Children: I work inside the curriculum you already use.
Preparing for a Latin reading or translation exam? Targeted grammar review and timed passage practice built around your exam’s format.
Adult learners and self-studiers are welcome too — whether you’re returning to Latin or starting fresh.
How sessions work
Meet from anywhere in the U.S. We work from a shared screen, so we can mark up passages and charts together in real time.
Each hour mixes review, new material, and reading practice, with a clear focus set at the start and next steps at the end.
Most students meet once a week for steady progress. Intensives pack more sessions into a short stretch before a big exam.

About me
I earned my B.A. in Classics at Pomona College in 2019, and I’m now in my sixth year teaching Latin and English at a Catholic school in Phoenix. My students have earned National Latin Exam awards every year I’ve taught. I’m currently completing a Master of Latin (M.L.) through the University of Florida, expected in 2028.

FAQ
You choose a time on my online calendar, and regular students keep a standing weekly slot. I’m on Arizona time, which doesn’t observe daylight saving time. The calendar shows open times in your own time zone automatically.
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged.
I’ve taught from Ecce Romani and Henle and tutored from Wheelock’s and Latin for the New Millennium. I’m also glad to work alongside Memoria Press, Latin for Children, Cambridge, or Lingua Latina — any sequence a student is in.
Yes. I work with adult learners and self-studiers, whether you’re picking Latin back up years after school or working through a textbook on your own. College and graduate students preparing for reading exams are welcome too.
It’s a no-obligation 20-minute Zoom call. We cover the student’s current level and goals, and I recommend a plan. Payment details are sent after your consultation.
